WTC Kayak Training

Welcome to the Wilmington Trail Club (WTC) Kayak Training website. We offer annual training by American Canoe Association certified instructors for both touring and whitewater kayakers who are at least 12 years old. Please feel free to explore the menus in this website to determine which training program interests you. Our training is inexpensive, thorough, and FUN!

We require membership in the WTC to take our training (Join WTC), which is only $18 a year. 

Our Fees:

Touring: $75 tuition for the weekend. $30 equipment rental for the weekend  plus a refundable deposit.

Whitewater: $135 tuition each weekend (includes lodging and Saturday dinner). $30 equipment rental each weekend plus a refundable deposit. There is a $15 fee each weekend for non-ACA members.
